Chalice Challenges

In order to increase school spirit, the entire AOA community is divided into four orders which come together to form the PHNX Crest.

• Patronus (Raven-Red)
• Honorabilis (Hawk-Green)
• Niteo (Owl-Yellow)
• Excelsior (Eagle-Blue)

Throughout the year, students, faculty, and staff participate in a variety of events called the Chalice Challenges. At the end of the year, one order wins the PHNX Chalice.

At the beginning of each new school year all new students, faculty and staff, are welcomed at the PHNX Chalice Challenges Ordering Ceremony.  They select their "color" from the Chalice to determine which team they will join for the various activities throughout the school year.
