Coaching Staff and Program Information
Varsity Cross Country
Coach Mike Wismer oversees both the Varsity Cross Country Program and Varsity Track Program at AOA. Additionally, Coach Wismer started the Middle School Track Program this past year.
The 2024-2025 school year will be Coach Wismer's 5th Season leading the Cross Country program and 4th leading the Track program. He has seen tremendous growth in both programs and has coached athletes to District, Regional, and State appearances. His 2024 Track team captured the schools first ever LEC Conference Championship in the sport. Coach Wismer is still an avid runner and ran collegiately at Wittenberg University. Outside of coaching, Coach Wismer is a member of the Upper School Teaching Faculty at AOA.
